What this website does not do

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It does not load fonts, maps or videos from other companies.

Enquiry form

If you send an enquiry, we receive the data you enter: your name, e-mail address, optional travel dates, number of guests and your message. Giving us this data is voluntary, but without your name and e-mail address we cannot reply.

We use these data only to reply to you and, if you book, to prepare your stay. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We keep an enquiry for as long as needed to answer it. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months at the latest. Data we must keep for a booking, such as guest registration and accounting records, are kept for as long as the law requires.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or automated decisions.

Formspree

The form is processed by Formspree, Inc. (United States). Formspree receives your enquiry, forwards it to us by e-mail and keeps a copy in our account, acting on our behalf as a processor. Transfers to the United States rely on the safeguards described in Formspree's privacy policy (formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy). We delete the copies of enquiries in the same periods as stated above.

Hosting

The website is hosted by OVH (OVHcloud), a company in France. The server keeps technical logs (for example IP address, date and requested page) for security and operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Links to other services

Links to WhatsApp and Google Maps open those services, which have their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them unless you click a link.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us using the details above.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example in Portugal the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt), or the authority in your country of residence.
